Galileo's Achivements
Galileo went to the University of Pisa where he studied the pendulum and made a discovery that it didn't matter the arc of the swing in a pendulum for it to swing back and forth. This discovery helped him developed the idea for a pendulum clock. while still at the University of Pisa he began to question the Aristotelian approach to physics and said that no matter how heavy an object is they still fall at the same speed. Galileo proved this idea by producing tests by dropping two different density objects from different heights and rolling 2 different density object down a hill and found that they rolled about the same distance. Undoubtedly, Galileo's most famous invention was the telescope. He made his first telescope in 1609 and used it to look at the moon, observe the four moons of Jupiter, a supernova, and discover sunspots.
